The Longines Equita Lyon (29 October - 3 November) is globally recognised as one of the most important equestrian events, widely regarded as Europe's largest annual horse show and a key destination on the international circuit.
Its importance is cemented by its unique status as one of the very few events worldwide to host four FEI World Cup legs in different disciplines, attracting the world's elite riders. The featured FEI disciplines are:

Lyon is hosting the second stop of the 2025/2026 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League season.
The Western European League consists of thirteen legs, starting in Oslo and continuing through Lyon, Verona, Stuttgart, A Coruña, London, Mechelen, Basel, Leipzig, Amsterdam, Bordeaux, Gothenburg, and Helsinki. The top eighteen riders from this league will qualify for the Final, which is scheduled to take place at Fort Worth, Texas, USA, between April 8-12, 2026.
