RACE FOR FEI PRESIDENCY: CANDIDATES PUBLISH ELECTION MANIFESTOS
The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has published the official manifestos of the three candidates standing for the FEI Presidency: Mark Samuel (CAN), Sabrina Ibáñez (ESA), and Jack Huang (TPE).
The publication marks the next phase of the campaign, allowing member National Federations to review each candidate’s vision and priorities.
Mark Samuel (Canada) focuses on commercial growth, financial oversight, and bringing athlete and horse owner experience directly to governance.
Sabrina Ibáñez (El Salvador) emphasises organisational stability, athlete services, and advancing the FEI’s existing strategic plan.
Jack Huang (Chinese Taipei) centres his platform on supporting developing equestrian nations, lowering participation costs, and integrating digital tools.
An online Q&A session for National Federations will take place on 15 September 2026.
Decision Date:
The final vote to elect the next FEI President will be made during the FEI General Assembly on 5 December 2026 in Jiangyin, China.
