HORSE TIMES attended this four-day gala anniversary event in Megeve, the capital of French snow polo. Every bit as chic and cher as its reputation, the venue provided dramatic alpine backdrops and weather. The final match was blessed with frosty crystalline sunshine - and plenty of power in the powder with team Le Fer a Cheval (hcp 8) freezing out team Stalis (hcp 8) to win the prize with a score of 7 to 4.
