Festival inspired by vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President & Prime Minister of the UAE & Ruler of Dubai sets new landmarks in entries and rider benefits
The status of the Toscana Endurance Lifestyle continues to grow as the competition sweeps all existing records with respect to unprecedented entries and a record prize money fund that has increased, from the previously announced 500,000 euros to approximately double, by the Meydan Group.
The festival draws its inspiration from the patronage and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The competition now boasts a record 500 entries from 44 nations, across all continents and this is unprecedented.
Commenting on this very positive development Brigadier Mohammed Essa Al Adhab, General Manager, Dubai Equestrian Club stated, “Such positive feedback from competitors and officials inspires us to plan for bigger and better events to promote endurance riding.
“The positive vision and blueprint designed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai makes us confident that the best is yet to come in the world of endurance riding competitions supported by the UAE and Dubai all over the world.

The added wide ranging cash benefits, like entry fees and boxes, travel allowance reimbursements; prize money for the first three winners of the three categories; financial incentives for all the horses that finish and other miscellaneous benefits has the potential to boost the pool total for this competition to close to 2 million Euros.
The teams competing in the CEI 3*, CEI 2* and CEI 2* Ladies will be the beneficiaries of this prize money fund and this includes an invitation for the top three of every category (who are not residents of the UAE) to the final event of the 2018 HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup Festival in Dubai.
The Toscana Endurance Lifestyle, held for the third consecutive year at the San Rossore Estate and the equally unique racetrack by the same name, will host two high profile rides from July 14-16th and then from August 4th-6th.
For the two events, facilities worth over three million euros are being set up, including a fully equipped veterinary clinic, and an environment-friendly International Village.
