ARAB SHOW JUMPERS AT THE ALLTECH FEI WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES 2014 IN NORMANDY

From inside the International Media Centre at D’Ornano Stadium, we had a chat with Mr. Aghyad Kabbani and Mr. Karim Badaro from the Syrian show jumping delegation. Ahmed Hamcho will not be competing on Tuesday and Syria will only participate with individual riders - Ahmed’s younger brother Amre and Houmam Al Khouli.

Chef d'Equipe Mr. Kabbani stated, “This will be an experience for the two Syrian riders and they are looking forward to enhance their exposure at international events as part of their learning curve. I wish them good luck.”

We also ran into Captain Hani Bisharat, Chef d'Equipe of the Jordanian delegation; his son Ibrahim is ready and set to compete on Tuesday on Emmanuel.

Also in the news, unfortunately Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al Sharbatly and Tobalio have withdrawn from the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy and the Kingdom will be represented by individual rider HH Prince Faisal Al Shalan and Talan.

This has come down to only three nations competing with teams: Egypt, Qatar and Morocco.

At 7 pm tonight, show jumpers will be training inside the main arena at D’Ornano Stadium.

Tomorrow morning at 10 am, show jumpers will again be training inside the main arena.

Competitions kick of on Tuesday morning 9:30 am.
