BERTRAM ALLEN SOARS TO VICTORY IN BIOS-GROEP PRIZE ROTTERDAM

Irish rider Bertram Allen is the winner of the BIOS-Groep Prize. With a daring run in the jump-off with Pacino Amiro, he set a time of 37.88 seconds, keeping his compatriot Tom Wachman en Obora's Laura (38.16 seconds) at bay. Swiss rider Edouard Schmitz and Quno were third in 38.77 seconds.

10 combinations had qualified voor the jump-off to this 5*-competition over 1.50m. Tom Wachman was the first to enter the Rotterdam Arena for his bid for the win.

The young Irishman, 29 years old, with great aglility steered Obora's Laura through the tightest possible turns and gave it his all to set the quickest time he could. Bertram Allen was the second competitor to enter the arena and he took things up another level, following the exact same route as Wachman through the course but just finishing a bit faster: 37.88 seconds.

The other eight competitors in the jump-off tried as they could, but they proved no match for Allen and Wachman. Switzerland's Edouard Schmitz and Quno came closest in a time of 38.77 seconds, securing third place.
