MAGNIFICENT MOUNT OF YURI MANSUR MISS BLUE DIES

That magnificent mare that helped Brazilian showjumping rider Yuri Mansur secure the Rolex Grand Prix at Rome’s Piazza di Siena just last May, sadly died yesterday on the 24th of June 2025 due to a case of colic.

Miss Blue-Saint Blue Farm, a 12-year-old mare (Chacco-Blue x VDL Zirocco Blue), owned by Thalita Olsen de Almeida, garnered remarkable achievements alongside Mansur. Together, they achieved memorable wins in major Grand Prix events around the world.

In May, Yuri and Miss Blue claimed victory at the Rolex Grand Prix of Rome in Piazza di Siena and in April, the Grand Prix of Fontainebleau. They also secured third place in the Rolex Grand Prix of 's-Hertogenbosch in March. Last year, they won the CSI5* Longines Grand Prix of Hamburg and proudly represented Brazil at the Olympic Games in Paris. They stood out on the international scene in 2023 when they won the Turkish Airlines Prize of Europe at CHIO Aachen.
