JEAN-MARC NICOLAS GUEST OF HONOUR AT CSI2* CAIRO INTERNATIONAL SHOWJUMPING COMPETITION
French showjumping icon Jean-Marc Nicolas is our esteemed Guest of Honour at the CSI2* Cairo International Showjumping Competition at the Police Sports Federation in Wadi El Forosya.
Some of Nicolas’ achievements include French Team wins in multiple FEI Nations Cup competitions, and his major Grand Prix victory was winning CSIO5* Rome.
He was an elite international competitor for France, selected over 70 times for the national team. His highest individual FEI ranking was 16th globally and 3rd with a performer stallion. His career highlights include numerous high-level victories and podium finishes in major international competitions, including 20 Nations Cup victories across the globe and multiple appearances in World Cup Finals. He was also the rider for the "Best Stallion in France" – SIRE MODESTO - for three consecutive years (2003, 2004, 2005).
Coach
Colombia: Secured a Silver medal at the Central American Games and guided a rider to a 5th-place individual finish at the World Equestrian Games.
France: Coached an Olympic Gold Medallist in Eventing (Karim Laghouag) and a European Champion Young Rider (Olivier Guillon).
Malaysia & South Korea: Achieved Gold and Bronze team medals, respectively, at the SEA Games and Asian Games.
Portugal: Served as the Junior and Young Rider National Trainer.

Gold Medal, Ministry of Sports, France (1980) awarded for his exceptional performance on the French Showjumping team that won France’s first-ever Nations Cup at Aachen, a historically prestigious event.

Olympic Games: Rotterdam hosted the "Alternative Games" in 1980 because of the Olympic boycott of the Moscow Games due to the Soviet Union invading Afghanistan. Finished 7th place.
