Class 6 of the International Jumping Competition at the Gothenburg Horse Show presented plenty of excitement.
We saw 12 clear rounds out of 22 starts, some riders that made mistakes but got lucky as they were saved by their amazing horses, and some riders who just jumped perfectly calculated rounds.
The jump-off looked like it was going for the German gun Marcus Ehning and Campbel as they cleared in 35.72 seconds.
Roger-Yves Bost and Castle Forbes slimmed down Ehning’s chances as in a very “wired-up” round, Bosty cleared in 33.95 seconds. Edwina Tops-Alexander and Vienna Olympic seemed to be taking a 3rd spot as they cleared in 37.31 seconds, however the young and rising talent Nayel Nassar and his small but very careful horse flawlessly and with exact precision, cleared in 36.07 seconds.
Congratulations to all the winners and to Egypt’s number one rider as well as the leader of the US West Coast League.
