International Show Jumping CSI3*/1* of Saint-Lô - Selle Français Stallions Championships

Normandy- France, 24 to 27 October 2013

The public has had an outstanding 2013 edition! Run sold out, the Grand Prix of Saint-Lô brought together 49 of the best couples of the weekend on a course made of 13 obstacles designed by leading international course designer Jean-Paul Lepetit. It was the great and beautiful sport finally with eight riders qualified for the jump off, particularly the French star Kevin Staut. He missed the win by a few hundredths and bowed in front of the Irish Shane Breen, faster 24/100 riding his mare Zarnita, which he owns half. She has been crowned Best Horse of the Show, while Kevin Staut has been Best Rider. Former World Champion Dermott Lennon (IRL) finished third.

Now based at Haras de Ravel, near Bayeux (Normandy), she signed the first international victory of her young career (she is only 20 years old). She was almost four seconds ahead of the Norman Stéphane Dufour, who was riding Quadrio Tame, owned by Brohier family. Stéphane also received the Crédit Agricole Normandie trophy as Best Rider of the CSI1* while Quadrio Tame the Best Horse.
