A PORSCHE MACAN FOR CSI3* GRAND PRIX WINNER AT CASAS NOVAS CENTER IN A CORUÑA SPAIN

The participant list for the CSI3* international competition, scheduled from the 16th of July till the 20th at Casas Novas Equestrian Centre (A Coruña), alongside the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship, promises to be one of the most competitive and spectacular events on both the national and international equestrian calendar.

This CSI3* features 5 classes with total prize money of €168,085, complemented by an exciting incentive: a Porsche Macan awarded to the winner of Saturday’s Grand Prix, the highlight of the weekend.

Over the 3 days of intense competition 40 riders and 67 horses will showcase their skills, offering the Casas Novas audience world-class showjumping each day.

Top international athletes such as Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann, renowned for his long-standing position at the top of the Longines FEI rankings, along with established stars like Britain’s Ben Maher, Germany’s Richard Vogel and Christian Kukuk, the Netherlands’ Maikel van der Vleuten, Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs and Steve Guerdat, and Ireland’s Daniel Coyle and Darragh Kenny, will guarantee a sporting spectacle.

Spain will be strongly represented by its leading riders in the national ranking: Eduardo Álvarez Aznar, enjoying an outstanding 2025 season filled with international appearances and podium finishes, and Mariano Martínez Bastida. They will be joined by notable names such as Manuel Fernández Saro, Julio Arias, and other prominent Spanish rider-and-horse combinations.

Local fans will have plenty to cheer for, with Galician riders Jesús Baamonde, Diego Ramos Maneiro, and Javier González Fraga, regulars at Casas Novasdedicating their efforts to energise the grandstands.

Competition Schedule:

- The CSI3* classes will range from 1.35m to 1.55m

- Friday: kicks off at 09:30 a.m. with the Veolia Trophy (1.35m), followed by the Grupo Eulen Trophy at 11:30 a.m. (1.45 m).

- Saturday: the most intense day, featuring the Movistar Trophy (1.45m) at 1:30 p.m., culminating in the much-anticipated Porsche Grand Prix at 4:00 p.m., with jumps up to 1.55 m. The highlight prize this year is a Porsche Macan, symbolising precision and elegance—hallmarks of equestrian sport and the prestige of the brand.

- Sunday: the final day concludes with the Prosegur Trophy at 11:30 a.m. (1.45m), bringing an unforgettable weekend of top-level competition to a close.
