A HISTORIC FIRST: THE LONGINES GLOBAL CHAMPIONS TOUR HEADS TO CAIRO

We are delighted to announce that for the first time in history, the Longines Global Champions Tour is coming to Cairo.

This momentous occasion marks the first time the Egyptian capital will host an official 5* showjumping event, bringing the league of international equestrian sport to one of the world’s most iconic locations.

A press conference was held today at the New Captial where Jan Tops was joined by attendees from the Egyptian Armed Forces and board members from the Egyptian Equestrian Federation, and the Chairman of HORSE TIMES Magazine.

The leg will be held in October 2026.
