Led by team captain Di Lampard, the British squad showcased impressive steadiness and teamwork throughout the competition. The winning moment came when Brash delivered a precise and swift jump-off round, clocking in at 38.19 seconds aboard Hello Jefferson (Cooper van de Heffinck), clinching the gold medal for his team.
Prior to that, teammates Ben Maher on Enjeu de Grisien (Toulon), Harry Charles with Sherlock (Bisquet Balou), and Donald Whitaker riding Millfield Colette (Cornet Obolensky) laid a solid foundation by producing clear rounds and consistent timings, playing a crucial role in the team's overall victory.
Ireland took the silver medal with a performance characterized by calm focus and technical skill. Billy Twomey impressed with a flawless jump-off on Jumping Jack van de Kalevallei (Kannan), finishing just fractions of a second behind Brash at 38.42 seconds.
Supporting efforts from Bertram Allen on Qonquest de Rigo (Fantomas de Muze), Sean Monaghan aboard Toyger (Catwalk IV), and Michael Pender with HHS Los Angeles (Le Roi) highlighted Ireland's resilience and precision during the final stages.
Germany claimed third place with a composed and experienced lineup. Richard Vogel delivered a strong first clear round and incurred only one fault in the second round riding United Touch S (Untouched). Marcus Ehning, aboard Coolio 42 (Casalito), and Sophie Hinners on Iron Dames Singclair (Singular LS la Silla) maintained the team's competitive edge despite some minor penalties.
Rounding out the team, Christian Kukuk added a steady performance with Just Be Gentle (Tyson). Germany’s total of 21 penalty points earned them the bronze medal, confirming their continued presence among the top nations in international showjumping.
