CLASH OF SHOWJUMPING TITANS AT THE LONGINES LEAGUE OF NATIONS FINAL

The stage is set for a clash of showjumping titans at the Longines League of Nations Final, the thrilling end to the two-year-old series. And following a gruelling season of world-class competition across three continents, only eight elite teams have earned their ticket to this high-stakes final.

Who qualified?

Nine nations including defending champions Germany battled across four explosive qualifying legs in Abu Dhabi, Ocala, Rotterdam, and St. Tropez-Gassin. Only the top eight survived to reach the final:

  1. France
  2. Great Britain
  3. Germany
  4. Belgium
  5. Ireland
  6. Italy
  7. USA
  8. The Netherlands

 Format and Stakes

The Final - with a course designed by Spain's own Santiago Varela - will be a two-round pressure cooker on Sunday. Both rounds are against the clock (Table A) on an identical 1.60m course, including a mandatory water jump.

Round One: four horse-and-rider combinations per team compete. The combined penalties and times of the three best count for the team score.

Round Two: all teams that clear Round One return with three pairs. This time, every score counts and there won’t be a drop score!

Starting Order: the tension is immediate, as the teams start in the reverse order of their season standings, meaning season-leader France will jump last in the first round.

The ultimate champion is the team with the lowest total penalties after both rounds. If there's a tie for first, brace yourself for a thrilling jump-off.

Total prize money is set at €1,600,000
